The Amazon Ads connection, exactly.

Status: not yet available. Adcquire has not yet been approved for the Amazon Ads API. Today you download your reports from Ads Console and upload them; everything below describes what the connection will do once Amazon approves it and it has been tested.Last updated 5 October 2026.

What works today, without it

Upload the Sponsored Prompts report and, if you like, the Sponsored Products campaign report from Ads Console (where to find them). Adcquire reads them, groups the prompts and shows what each costs and sells. Pauses you approve are made by you in Ads Console, then marked done.

The permission it asks for

You sign in on Amazon’s own page — Adcquire never sees your Amazon password — and choose which advertising profile to connect. Amazon’s consent page asks for Amazon Ads campaign management for that profile. Only an owner of your brand’s workspace can connect or disconnect it.

That permission would let an app make many changes. Adcquire limits itself to the reads and changes listed below, and only sends a change when a person on your team presses Send. An automatic rule approves its change for you, within the limits you set; a person still presses Send.

What it would read

DataWhy
Your advertising profiles: name, country, currencySo you can choose which one to connect
The Sponsored Products Prompts report: date, campaign, ad group, ASIN, prompt text, impressions, clicks, cost, 7-day sales and ordersThe same report you upload today, fetched for you
The Sponsored Products campaign report: the same figures by campaignACOS with and without prompts
Campaign and ad-group names, states, budgets, placements and default bidsTo show what a change would replace, and to undo it

What it could change, with your approval

  • Pause or restart a single prompt in its ad group — through Amazon’s prompt control.
  • Change a campaign’s daily budget, or an ad group’s default bid. Amazon has no bid on a single prompt.
  • Change a campaign’s top-of-search and product-page placement adjustments.

Each change is shown before it’s sent, with what it replaces; is capped (30% per change by default, with floors, ceilings and a cooldown you set); is logged with who approved and sent it and what Amazon answered; and can be put back from the log if Amazon’s value hasn’t changed since.

How fresh the data would be

Reports would sync daily, covering up to the previous day; Amazon can take hours to prepare a report. Sponsored Prompts reporting is available for US advertisers. Hour-by-hour data would need Amazon Marketing Stream, a separate integration that isn’t built, so hourly schedules are planned, not live.

What it never does

  • It never reads Amazon’s shopping assistant, its answers or whom it recommends — Amazon doesn’t share them, and we don’t collect them.
  • It never reads other advertisers’ data, shopper identities or your Seller or Vendor Central account.
  • It never shares your Amazon data with other brands or sells it.

Disconnecting

An owner can disconnect at any time on Data & uploads: the access token is deleted, nothing more is fetched or sent, and what was fetched from Amazon is deleted. Reports you uploaded yourself, and the pauses and changes your team decided, stay. The connection also stops if the person who made it leaves the brand, and Amazon asks brands to confirm it once a year. Remove Adcquire in your Amazon account’s Login with Amazon settings to withdraw the permission on Amazon’s side too. See what disconnecting does.
