“Shoppers ask if our serum works with their routine. Are we paying for questions our listing can’t answer?”

Skincare is a routine. See what shoppers ask about it.

Can I layer it with retinol? Is it safe for sensitive skin? Does it oxidize? Beauty prompts ask about routines, ingredients and skin types. Adcquire groups them, shows which earn their spend, and flags the ones that stray into claims your team never approved.

The problem today

Shoppers ask about the whole routine. Most listings only list ingredients.

Beauty prompts are specific: concentration, layering order, skin type, shelf life. Amazon writes them from your listing and bills every click at your CPC. When the listing names the actives but not how to use them, the prompt still gets clicks and the shopper still has no answer. Some prompts go further, into conditions and treatments your regulatory team would never let you claim.

How long the console lists a clicked prompt

1Routine

Layering questions are rising fastest

Retinol, niacinamide, before or after moisturizer. In the demo, routine questions rose 40% in a week. The console doesn’t show change week on week.

Prompt“Can I use it with retinol?”

2Skin type

Sensitive skin carries the category

It’s the most-asked theme, and it sells when the listing says the product was tested on sensitive skin. It deserves the most budget, and the most care.

Prompt“Is it safe for sensitive skin?”

3Claims

Prompts that stray into treatment claims

“Treat”, “acne”, “pregnant”, in a prompt on your ad. The answer to one can read like a claim your listing never made.

Prompt“Does it treat acne scars?”

4Stability

Shelf-life questions with no orders

Oxidation and how long it lasts once opened: clicked, and never ordered, when the listing says nothing about the bottle.

Prompt“Does it oxidize and turn orange?”

The questions sit in a routine

Beauty prompts ask where a product fits: morning or night, before or after moisturizer, with or without retinol. Here they are, placed where they come up.

What you decide with it

Not a report to read. Decisions to make.

Brief

▲ 00%

routine & layering questions, week on week · demo

The layering line

Routine questions rose sharply in a week, and the listing doesn’t say how to layer the serum. Add one line for morning and night, and routine prompts have something to sell.

Stability, stated

Two stability questions took 136 clicks and sold nothing. Say it comes in an airless pump, and how long it lasts once opened.

Scale

Sensitive skin, backed

The listing says it was tested on sensitive skin, and that prompt returns above the 3× line. It can take more budget.

  • Response audit: a sample response you paste in, read against your listing — what it says that your listing doesn’t, and who it names

The business case

Routine questions are the fastest-growing theme in the demo, ▲ 40% in a week. A brand that answers them on the listing gives those prompts something to sell. One that doesn’t still pays for the clicks.

Questions

Before you trust it, the straight answers.

Will Adcquire write claims for our listing?
No. It shows which questions shoppers ask and which prompts sell. The wording on your listing is yours to write and approve, within what your team can support.
What gets tagged as a compliance risk?
Prompts that mention a health condition (acne, eczema, rosacea), a treatment (treat, cure, heal), a medical authority (FDA, clinically proven, doctor recommended) or a safety topic (pregnant, allergy). You can add your own watch-words. Each tag shows the word that caused it.
Can we stop prompts that mention a condition?
You can pause them in Ads Console. A pause rule for compliance-tagged prompts is included and off by default: switch it on, try it as a dry run, and approve what it proposes. Every step is logged.
We sell serums, SPF and retinoids. Is that one workspace?
Yes. One brand’s products share a workspace, and the Prompts report covers every product you advertise.
Why are some prompts missing from the data?
Ads Console and the Prompts report only list prompts that got at least one click. A prompt that was shown but never clicked isn’t in the data.
Is this only for the US?
For now, yes. Sponsored prompts run only in the US store, so Adcquire reads US reports. When Amazon launches prompts in other marketplaces, Adcquire will read those too.
