“Shoppers ask if our shorts run true to size and whether there’s a phone pocket. Which of those prompts are worth paying for?”

Fit, fabric, pockets. Pay for the questions that sell.

Apparel shoppers ask about what photos don’t show: inseam, liner, pockets, shrinkage. Adcquire groups those prompts, shows which ones sell, tags the comparisons that name a rival, and gives each prompt a verdict you can act on.

The problem today

Apparel questions are about fit. Photos can’t answer them.

True to size? Phone pocket? Squat-proof? Amazon writes prompts from your listing and bills every click at your CPC. When a detail isn’t stated, the prompt still gets clicked and the shopper still has to guess. A wrong guess about fit often comes back as a return.

1Fit

Sizing is asked most

“Do they run true to size?” sells when the size chart and fit notes answer it. When they don’t, the shopper guesses.

Prompt“Do they run true to size?”

2Features

Pocket questions rose 40%

Phone pockets and zips: in the demo, clicked often and never ordered, because the listing doesn’t say.

Prompt“Is there a phone pocket?”

3Rivals

Comparisons that name another brand

Prompts that name a rival take clicks and return below your line. Sponsored prompts can also appear on other brands’ product pages.

Prompt“Are these better than Pacer shorts?”

4Seasons

Last season’s numbers are gone

Hot-weather and running questions peak in summer. The console lists a prompt only for 65 days after its last click, so last summer’s numbers are gone before the next one starts.

Today, and next

What works now, and what’s coming.

Works today, in every trial

  • Prompts report upload from Ads Console, as CSV or Excel
  • Every clicked prompt grouped by what the shopper is asking
  • Scale, fix or pause for every prompt, with the rule printed
  • Alerts when a new prompt appears in your report
  • Your-brand and competitor tags, each with the word that caused it
  • Pause rules with a dry run, an approval queue, a change log and undo
  • Every uploaded week kept, so one season can be compared with the next
  • Listing gaps: each clicked question checked against the listing text you paste in, with an outline bullet

The business case

Stride & Co’s pocket questions cost $197 in a month and sold nothing, while its fabric questions returned 4.7×. One image and one bullet could give the pocket questions something to sell.

Questions

Before you trust it, the straight answers.

Can it tell which prompts lead to returns?
No. The Prompts report has clicks, spend, orders and sales, not returns. It does show the fit and sizing questions shoppers ask before buying, which is often where returns start.
We have many sizes and colours. Are they separate?
The report lists prompts by advertised product. Adcquire groups prompts by theme across products, so a sizing question is in one place whichever product it ran on.
Do competitor tags need setting up?
Your brand and competitor names come from your settings. Brands named after “vs” or “better than” are caught as well. Each tag shows the word that caused it.
Can I keep last season’s data?
Yes. Every week you upload stays in Adcquire, so next summer can be compared with this one. The console lists a prompt only for 65 days after its last click.
Is this only for the US?
For now, yes. Sponsored prompts run only in the US store, so Adcquire reads US reports. When Amazon launches prompts in other marketplaces, Adcquire will read those too.
