“How do the prompts that name a competitor perform for me?”

How the prompts that name a competitor perform for you.

How the prompts that name a competitor perform for you — clicks, spend, orders — from your own report. Prompts that name a competitor are tagged today, from the names you enter, and can be filtered on the Prompts page; a dedicated view is coming. The problem today

Comparison questions decide the sale. The console scatters them across ads.

“Are these better than…?”, “best running shorts with a liner” — comparison prompts appear on your ads, and shoppers tap them while choosing. Ads Console shows their clicks and spend ad by ad; nothing adds up the prompts that name each competitor, or shows whether they sell. The assistant may suggest other products; Amazon decides what it says.

A comparison prompt on your ad

Amazon writes a comparison prompt that names a rival, and shows it next to your ad. A runner who is choosing taps it.

Decide

0 rule

printed with every decision

Keep, fix or pause

Keep a comparison prompt that sells, answer what the listing leaves open, or pause one that never sells. Changes wait for your approval unless you set a rule to automatic.

Who uses it

One view, every team that touches the listing.

Brand manager

Which competitors your prompts name, and what those prompts cost and sell.

Content team

The questions your listing leaves open on products that draw comparison prompts.

PPC manager

Which comparison prompts to hold, and which are worth contesting.

Agency

Comparison-prompt performance per client, from each client’s own report.

When it ships

What you get, and why it pays.

What it will include

  • Clicks, spend and orders for prompts naming each competitor
  • Trend by week
  • Competitor tags from the names you enter, plus “vs” and “better than” phrases
  • Alerts when a new prompt names a competitor

The business case

Shoppers who tap a comparison prompt are choosing between products. Knowing what those prompts cost and sell tells you which to keep paying for.

Questions

Before you trust it, the straight answers.

Will Adcquire tell me what the assistant recommends?
Not offered. Amazon provides no authorised source for assistant answers or other advertisers’ prompts. Adcquire reports how your own comparison prompts perform.
Which competitors are tracked?
The competitor names you enter in settings, plus brands named after “vs” or “better than” in your own prompts.
Can rivals’ prompts appear on my product page?
Yes — sponsored prompts can show on other brands’ product pages, including yours. Adcquire can’t see them: Amazon provides no authorised source for other advertisers’ prompts.
Will competitors know?
No. Adcquire reads only your own reports.
When can I use it?
Competitor tags and the Prompts page filter work today. A dedicated comparison view is on the roadmap; the example here uses fictional brands.
