“We sell to Amazon as a vendor. Are prompts running on our ads, and what can we do when content changes go through Vendor Central?”

Vendors pay for prompts too. See yours, and act on them.

Sponsored prompts run on vendor Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns just as they do on sellers’, billed at your cost-per-click. Adcquire reads your Prompts report, shows what prompts cost and sell, and puts together the evidence for the content changes you request through Vendor Central.

The problem today

Your ads run prompts today. Your content changes take longer.

Amazon opened prompts to US sellers and vendors alike, per Amazon’s announcement. Campaigns were enrolled automatically, and since 25 March 2026 every click is billed at your CPC. As a vendor you control your ad account, but listing content changes go through Vendor Central, and you have less direct control over them than a seller editing their own listing. While a fix waits, the prompt keeps spending.

1Enrolled

Nobody opted you in

Every eligible vendor SP and SB campaign runs prompts from the same budget. Many teams first notice them on the bill.

2Content

Fixes go through Vendor Central

When a prompt shows the listing is missing an answer, fixing it is a Vendor Central request, not a quick edit. You need evidence to make the case, and a plan for the meantime.

3Catalogue

Prompts spread across a catalogue

A vendor catalogue can have hundreds of advertised products. The console shows prompts one ad at a time.

4Evidence

Your Amazon contacts want numbers

A request lands better with clicks, spend and orders for the question than with a screenshot of one prompt.

Today, and next

What works now, and what’s coming.

Works today, in every trial

  • Prompts report upload from Ads Console, as CSV or Excel
  • Every clicked prompt grouped by what the shopper is asking
  • Scale, fix or pause for every prompt, with the rule printed
  • Alerts when a new prompt appears in your report
  • CSV exports of prompts and questions, ready to attach to a content request
  • Pause rules with a dry run, an approval queue, a change log and undo
  • ACOS with and without prompts, per campaign, when you add the campaign report
  • Listing gaps: each clicked question checked against the listing text you paste in, with an outline bullet

The business case

Little Nest’s prompts cost $1,178 a month, and $426 of that sold nothing. When a content fix takes weeks to go live, knowing which prompts to hold in the meantime is money back.

Yes. Per Amazon’s announcement, prompts are open to US advertisers running Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, sellers and vendors alike. Campaigns are enrolled automatically.
Where do vendors get the Prompts report?
In Ads Console: Reports › Create report › Sponsored Products › Prompts. Download it and upload it to Adcquire as CSV or Excel.
Can Adcquire change our content in Vendor Central?

Can we pause prompts while a change is pending?
Yes. Pause in Ads Console, mark it done in Adcquire, and undo it when the change is live. Each step is logged.
Can our agency run this for us?
Yes. The exports and change log are made to be shared. Multiple brand workspaces per login, for agencies, are Coming.
