“How do I stop paying for the wrong prompts — without living in Ads Console?”

Know what Amazon runs in your name. Stop what doesn’t sell.

Amazon enrolls every eligible campaign in prompts and bills them from your budget. Adcquire announces each prompt the first time it appears in an uploaded report, tags the ones that name your brand, a competitor or a health claim, and runs pause rules you set — pauses wait for your approval unless you set a rule to automatic, a person still makes or sends every pause, and every one is logged. Add your campaign report and see what prompts do to each campaign’s ACOS.

The problem today

Amazon writes prompts on your budget. You find out after the money’s gone.

Every eligible campaign runs prompts, billed at your cost-per-click from the same budget. You can’t write them or approve them first; you can pause them one at a time after they’ve drawn clicks, or ask Amazon support to switch prompts off altogether — losing the good ones with the bad. Some name a competitor; some touch a health or safety claim your listing never made.

How it works

Step by step, on Brewhaus.

After an upload: a new prompt announced and tagged, rules picking out what to pause, a person approving, and the ACOS effect by campaign. Pick any step to jump to it.

Worth a lookNew

New prompt: “Is Brewhaus better than Corvo?”

Names your brand and a competitor, “Corvo” — a comparison prompt on your ad.

Needs a decisionNew

New prompt: “Is the water tank BPA-free and non-toxic?”

Mentions “non-toxic” — a safety topic where a wrong answer is costly.

A new prompt appears

After each upload, each prompt that appears for the first time is announced — once, with what’s notable about it.

What you decide with it

Not a report to read. Decisions to make.

Know

Once

each new prompt announced

Every new prompt, at your next upload

Announced once with its tags, so a new prompt is seen at the first upload after it’s clicked.

Pause

00+

clicks before “no orders” counts

What your rules say doesn’t earn

Enough clicks with no orders, ACOS over your line, or a tag you won’t pay for — proposed with the numbers; approved by you unless you set the rule to automatic.

one demo campaign’s ACOS, from prompts

What prompts do to each campaign

ACOS as billed, and with prompt spend and sales taken out — per campaign, from the campaign report.

Who uses it

One view, every team that touches the listing.

PPC manager

A weekly queue of pauses with the evidence, instead of combing through every ad group.

Brand & compliance

Health, safety and competitor prompts flagged the week they appear in your report.

Agency

A log of what was paused, why and by whom — ready to show the client.

Finance

What prompts add to, or take off, each campaign’s ACOS.

In every plan

What you get, and why it pays.

What’s included

  • Alerts for each new prompt in an uploaded report
  • Tags: your brand, competitor, compliance risk, off-product — each with its reason
  • Pause rules with dry-run preview, approval queue and change log
  • Undo a decision in Adcquire; reverse the pause itself in Ads Console (or from here once the Amazon connection is live)
  • ACOS with and without prompts, per campaign
  • A weekly email summary (on by default; turn it off in settings)
  • Sending pauses to Amazon — planned, pending Amazon’s approval of the connection

The business case

Prompts spend before anyone looks. A rule that catches a prompt after 30 clicks instead of a quarter later is spend you keep — and a competitor or health-claim prompt caught the week it appears is a problem that never grows.

Questions

Before you trust it, the straight answers.

Does Adcquire pause prompts on Amazon for me?
Not yet. Today a rule proposes the pause; it’s approved by you, or automatically if you set the rule to automatic; you pause it in Ads Console where we show you, and mark it done. With the Amazon connection — planned, pending Amazon’s approval — approved pauses would be sent through the Ads API.
Can a rule act without me?
No. An automatic rule approves its change for you; a person on your team still presses Send before anything reaches Amazon. Everything is logged and can be undone in Adcquire (and on Amazon once the connection is live). Until the connection is live, the pause itself is made by a person in Ads Console.
How are prompts tagged?
By rules you can read: your brand and competitor names from your settings, “vs” and “better than” phrases, and a built-in list of health and safety terms plus your own watch-words. Every tag shows the word that caused it.
What does ACOS impact need?
Your Prompts report and the Sponsored Products campaign report for the same dates. Each campaign shows its ACOS as billed and with prompt spend and sales removed.
Will I get emails?
Yes. Alerts are in the dashboard after each upload, and a weekly email summary is on by default — you can turn it off in settings.
