Connect Amazon
What the Amazon Ads connection will do — fetch your reports and send the changes you approve — and how to switch it off. All help.
Where it stands
Not available yet: Adcquire is waiting for Amazon to approve its access to the Amazon Ads API. Until then, upload your reports by hand (see Upload your reports). Exactly what it will read and change is on the Amazon Ads integration.
When it’s available
- An owner opens Data & uploads and chooses the region, clicks Connect Amazon Ads, signs in with Amazon, and chooses the advertising profile.
- Reports are fetched about once a day; Sync now asks for them straight away; if Amazon is still preparing them, they arrive with the next sync. The Scheduled page shows when the next fetch is due.
- Approved changes can be sent to Amazon from Waiting for your OK. Nothing is sent that nobody approved, and a sent change can be undone from here.
Switching it off
- An owner clicks Disconnect on Data & uploads, then Disconnect and delete. What was fetched from Amazon is deleted — including weeks you also uploaded for the same dates; reports you uploaded for other weeks stay.
- To remove access on Amazon’s side too, remove Adcquire under Login with Amazon in your Amazon account.
Other guides
- Upload your reports — Get the Prompts report (and the Campaign report) out of Ads Console and into your dashboard, every week.
- Read your decisions — What the decisions on the Overview and the To-do list are, why each one is there, and how to clear them.
- Pause rules and automations — Stop paying for prompts that don’t sell: rules that propose pauses, automations that propose bid and budget moves, and approving them.
- Your listing, Q&A and reviews — Find the questions shoppers ask that your product page doesn’t answer, draft the answer, and check what Amazon’s assistant says.
- What runs on its own — The Scheduled page, “tell me when” watches, event windows for Prime Day and launches, and budget pacing.
- Your team and approvals — Invite people, choose who can change what, and require a second person to approve.
