Your listing, Q&A and reviews

Find the questions shoppers ask that your product page doesn’t answer, draft the answer, and check what Amazon’s assistant says. All help.

Paste your text

  1. Open Products, pick a product, and click Add listing text: paste the title, bullet points and description.
  2. Add the Q&A from the product page, and a few review highlights — without reviewers’ names. Each is pasted by you; nothing is fetched from Amazon.
  3. If your title and listing text give a different size, weight, pack count, wattage or battery — 500 ml in one, 750 ml in the other — it’s shown under them as Figures that don’t match. Fix whichever is wrong, or say the title’s figure in the listing too.

See what’s unanswered

  1. Open Question topics and pick a topic. Under Unanswered in your listing are the questions shoppers keep asking whose words your listing and Q&A don’t use.
  2. Shoppers ask about something the topics don’t cover? Under Your own topics, give it a name and a few words (“Travel”: travel, camping, plane): every question using them moves into it.
  3. One that only reviews answer is flagged: Amazon’s assistant may quote a reviewer, good or bad. Answered, and where shows what your listing or Q&A already covers.
  4. Pick Bullet, A+ line or Q&A answer and click Draft an answer. Anything your listing doesn’t state is left in [brackets] for you to fill in — a draft never invents a fact.

Check what the assistant says

  1. Open Answer check, choose the product and prompt, and paste the answer Amazon’s assistant gave (Ads Console shows a sample for each prompt).
  2. It shows whether the answer names you or a competitor, and what it says that your text doesn’t back. Health, safety, size and compatibility claims go on Claims to fix until your text backs them or you mark them fixed.
  3. If it gives a size, weight or count that your page gives differently, it says Your page says otherwise, with a note under Tell Amazon: copy it and paste it into the feedback link under the assistant’s answer on Amazon.
